About me

I have been working in mental health for the past 14 years, with 10 years spent working within NHS services. I have been working in private practice for the past three years. I have extensive experience working with adults experiencing a range of emotional disorders, such as depression and anxiety, and challenging life circumstances.

I have a particular passion for supporting people who are living with Long Term Physical health conditions, such as chronic pain, IBS, and Long COVID utilising CBT and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) approaches.

I frequently work with neurodivergent people who may be struggling with stress, anxiety, emotional regulation, or low mood. When working with clients with ADHD and/or autism I deliver neuro-affirming CBT.

I have delivered workshops for the BABCP on working with members LQBTQI+ community and deliver inclusive CBT for all genders and sexualities.

I completed my CBT training at the University of Reading, where I also hold a lectureship training the next generation of CBT therapists. This role enables me to be as up-to-date as possible with emerging evidence and evidence-based practice.

My approach is based on your own needs and goals for therapy and would be happy to talk through your options. I work to the ethical standards and policies of the BABCP and I hold for professional indemnity to practice as a therapist in the UK.
